You would think with a young cast that many of Hollywood's superstars would have been made form this movie. Lots of teen movies in the late '90s made stars of relatively unknown or fairly unknown actors: 10 Things I Hate About You, Never Been Kissed, She's All That, Can't Hardly Wait, American Pie....

But for some reason this movie takes place at a high school and cast many young actors, yet only Melissa emerged as a star (and she was well known before due to Clarissa Explains it All) and Ryan Reynolds.
