Weaver was a bigot...

And bigots deserve death...

ZERO TOLERANCE FOR IN-TOLERANCE!

Death to ALL racists, homophobes and religious nuts!

Ironically, Bradly Pierce (voice of Tails in the Sonic cartoons, and my favorite voice actor) is in this movie...
I wonder what it felt like for him, having to play a brainwashed racist lil Neo Nazi boy... >.<

"And bigots deserve death..."?

OK, so you "hate" bigots.

Why? Because they "hate"?

Then by your own logic you deserve death as well because you "hate" bigots.

Thanks for playin'.

LOL. You're playing the liberal game here.

So are we just as bad as a convicted killer because we want him put to death?

It makes me laugh really hard when right-wing conservatives act like a bunch of liberals all of a sudden when they try to defend fellow BIGOTS like Mr. Weaver.

I hope you're still around, because you're not making any sense. The poster you replied was not "acting like a liberal", he was using the OP's logic against himself. Dang, you are really dumb, which is typical of your kind.

My my, what an INTOLERANT view. So anyone who disagrees with you deserves to die, eh?
Well if bigotry was a capitol offense, folks like Rosie O'Donnell and Jesse Jackson should have been gassed a looong time ago.

Refusal to believe does not negate the truth.

Just because someone has different opinions than you do, or practices a different religion, has a different skin color, is a jerk, a bigot, etc. does not mean that you can summarily deny them their rights.

The United States was founded on the principle that all people are equal under the law - not just those people who you like and agree with.

He wasn't bothering anyone, so what's the problem? I don't like bigots, but I hate busy bodies even more. Learn how to mind your own business, live your own life. You keep worrying about what others are doing and thinking, you will waste what little time you have in this life. What a shame that would be, yes?

reply

He was charged with firearms violations as I recall and the court didn't seem to be very well organized in terms of when he needed to show up for a hearing

I'm not defending the guy or his odd racial and religious beliefs but he was just out in the woods in a shack without a toilet...The government could have kept their cool and simply maintained the siege until they all ran out of food up there on that hill

Waco was another case where the government went storming in on weirdos which ended in tragedy but at least at Waco there were persistent questions about Koresh possibly committing sexual assaults on women and little girls
We can understand the reason for barreling into the compound due to the rumors

These are crazy people, the government needs to figure out how not to pour gasoline on the fire, this loony stuff will happen again and probably soon

reply

I agree. And also, from what I've read, it seems that Weaver was entrapped into the gun charge in the first place. (Not that the government seems to give a shit about entrapment anymore. They do it all the time.)

reply

It reminds me of that line from First Blood when Col. Trautman tells Sheriff Teasle 'Let Rambo walk away for now, you'll pick him up 30 miles from here working at a station pumping gas in a week' or words to that effect

The Law can't back these nuts into a corner or it's going to get bad real quick...Lay siege, hang out for 3 months, they'll eventually grow tired of wiping their asses with pinecones and they'll quit

reply

Well, in Weaver's case I think the siege was unjust in the first place. Entrapment is not legal for a reason. It's bullshit.

reply

They only filed the gun charges against him because he refused to become an informant for the ATF. It's utterly ridiculous, they even falsely accused him of being a bank robber.

I don't know if the Weavers were actual bigots, I don't care since they weren't the ones going around hurting people.

Every single misstep that led to this tragedy was taken by the authorities, the Weavers simply responded. And oh yeah, Lon Horiuchi should be in jail.

reply

The Waco siege was an utter disaster that produced the deaths of 25 children the government wanted to rescue. There had to have been a better way to resolve a standoff with crazy zealots than that debacle. When you add in the 50 or so adults who died (including pregnant women) and Reno’s ever rotating explanation for resorting to an assault, you can’t help but question FBI competence.

reply

I agree, it shouldn't have gone down that way

The possible sex abuse had everyone on edge, if this had not been a factor maybe the whole thing could have gone down with a long wait until they gave up

reply

This is such an intolerant view. Hmm, where's my gun ...
