My two cents.

It's a great movie, excerpt for one major flaws: Leonardo Di Caprio

I thing this movie will be better with someone like Shia Le Boeuf starring as Romeo.

Possibly a troll but I would have to agree. DiCaprio is thoroughly AWFUL in this movie. He yells and chews the scenery whenever he supposed to be showing any genuine emotion. His scenes with Claire Danes are awkward and I don't believe for a second that they're in love with each other. It looks like the director said "ok, now may lovey-dovey eyes at each other". Leguziamo (Sp?) would given Romeo the depth that he needs and not making him some mopey, preening poster boy.

The actual script states that Romeo is a just young guy who is inexperienced in the ways of love. He's not supposed to be some experienced lover who looks like an underwear model. Although, personally DiCaprio in his early years looked a lot like a woman which is probably why he got these parts.

Seeing these two together you wonder why their families at odds as both DiCaprio and Danes look like could be related. There a whole lot of other things wrong with this movie that Luhrman did, DiCaprio is just one of the major ones.
