Why would they still send the jets to destroy the chemical weapons if they knew all the missiles had been launched? I mean the last two ones, once were destroyed after fleeing over the stadium and the other one was launched killing the dude in the light house. So no need to destroy and kill hostages, they could go there and kill everyone without the risk of threat
sharethey didn't know all the missles were destroyed. Two of them got fired, the one that killed Tony Todd and the other one that Hummel sank. Now there were other missiles, think of the ones in the morgue, and Goodspeed had disabled them, but the Gov guys didn't know that. Goodspeed only talked to them on the walkie talkie at the begining and then at the end of the mission but for most of it the gov guys were in the dark about what was actually going on.
so yes they did think there were more missles that could be fired.
