Robocop/Robocop 2 scenes in the flashbacks

Did anyone else notice the Robocop and Robocop 2 scenes in the black and white flashback at the beginning of the movie? You can see the SWAT teams closing in, a close up of a muzzle flash and a Cain robot arm mini gun for a second. What lazy film making. I had to rewind and pause to make sure that's what I saw. The movie is readily available on Netflix streaming so it won't cost you except for what you are already paying.

I'm watching this now and read your post so had to rewind it to see what younwere talking about. All of these movies are made by Orion so that's where the connection comes in. I think that the scenes in this movie must have been deleted scenes from the Robocop movies because I don't remember them exactly but you can see Cain's arm cannon.
