strange but true

Hello, My name is Anahwake Nahtanaba, and I was in the movie Raven Hawk,I was what's his names wife, the one who got "contaminated", was dieing ,but not fast enough so they killed me, actualy I had pnewmonia "in real life" at the time so it was great ,for my condition, that I was in bed for the whole shoot...dieing!The smoke machines were fogging, we were in a tiny adobe room,with 15 or 20 crew members, camera in my face which was covered with egg whites and was supposed to show the effect of radiation poisining and itched like crazy and then there was all that fake blood in my hair, I had a fabulous time!

Speaking of real life, I am a sculptor,and composer, and am now a "wild and wooly activist" for the rights of my Caddo tribe. I moved from Santa Fe and am living near my tribe in Oklahoma where I am activly fighting to regain our tribal charter, which our chairman "sold to scoundrelous white lawyers", check out my websit thecaddo.com. I am also creating a non-profit org. to create jobs in this area of Indian Country for artists, ( something my tribe should be doing but is not). I have been shot at, my dogs killed,physicly attacked,threatened with everything in the book and all because I have uncovered "fowl deeds" and have documintation to proove it.So , in my case, life has imitated art, Raven Hawk and its story line in a strange way, became my life.Fighting for my people, Wierd HUH! Just thought I'd tell you these things , and yes the movie stinks but Thanks to Rachel and the Director and the "lines" they added to my part, I got into SAG, and learned first hand how to wear a ball cap and kick butt!and that is exactly what I'm doing!That and a whale of a lot of ART.

OH BY THE WAY ,CHECK OUT THE CAPRI SITE (ITALIAN SITE)RAVEN HAWK IS A 'CULT' MOVIE THERE,WOW, WE ARE HERO'S! IS THERE NO ACCOUNTING FOR TASTE? BUT HEY.
