The Prisoner - Air Guitar

All these voices in my head, and not a single one I understand.

I wish people would stop saying it's Air Guitar, just because he Air Guitar's in the scene doesn't mean the song is it. Anyways OP, I have never been able to find the song, it's not listed on the soundtrack. As far as I could get was that the artist is a band called Partibrejkers, but I still haven't been able to find the track because

A) they're obscure

B) From Denmark

C) This song and album aren't popular enough to have been uploaded onto the internet.

Anyways, I found a couple of their albums uploaded at Grooveshark, they defiantly sound like the same band, I just haven't been able to find the specific track, it's a good one too.

Dude, it is Air Guitar - as I wrote. It's by The Prisoner (have never even heard of the band you're mentioning)

In the future, please do yourself a favor and check up on what people write. Instead of just assuming a lot of stuff, without having any idea of what you're talking about.

Its not Air Guitar, I`ve listened to Air Guitar. In fact I did a little research, and it`s in fact TWO SONGS mixed in with eachother The first part when he disturbs Vic while she sleeps is INTO THE SUN by the same band.

But when it cuts to him waiting for his drug mule, the song switches to a similar sounding song, called "Street rat" also by Prisoner. Have a nice night Petty Officer Pete

According to this (I always use this website to check up on music); https://www.discogs.com/Various-Pusher-Original-Motion-Picture-Soundtrack/release/441429 - 'Air Guitar' by The Prisoners is the only song used. The track is 1 minute and 6 seconds long, so is the scene.

But if you and others thinks that the song uses parts from a different song, or a song along with Air Guitar is playing simultaneously, then it's a whole different story. But neither of you have mentioned that (or maybe you have, but then it has been really poorly worded)

anyways, for your listening pleasure
I mixed both songs how they appear in the film since both alone don't do eachother justice

These two songs are not 'Into the Sun' and 'street rat', it's 'Air Guitar' and 'Street Rat'.

'Into the sun', is the song played before Air Guitar:

Have you even watched the movie? The Prisoners made a lot of songs, specifically for this movie. Why would they call a song 'Air Guitar', with the intention of using it in a scene which has nothing to do with air guitar, when there's in fact a scene in the movie, where the main character is acting like he is playing air guitar?

This couldn't be more stupid.

Lol you're so upset, I've been a fan of the movie for a long time, and when I made the initial post there wasn't much or any sources online. The only source for the soundtrack I could find is

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gn1mumjD16M

And they listed the tracks as I saw them. And when I downloaded a version of Air Guitar years ago from a different source, it too was not the song. So "Into The Sun" has been the only source that's gotten "Air Guitar" right in the last recent years.

I realise now that incorrect sources (two completely different ones) and it wouldn't be the first time a director uses source music and doesn't literally match up the song. Anyways I got 4 notifications from you and your excitement, and frankly, you've got a very unstable cat lady thing going on and I don't know how to react to it. So have a good one.

I'm not upset, at all. I just don't get you. None of the things you come up with makes any sense, plus you haven't done any home work what so ever. It's very very easy to find out, that The Prisoner made tracks specifically for this movie. That's one thing. The other thing is, why call a song 'Air guitar' to use it in another scene in a movie, than the one where the main character pretends to play air guitar? You think the song is called 'Into the sun', then why not check up on that song as well? Even the band Partibrejkers you mention as being Danish, is actually Serbian. And the worst part is, you refuse to listen to what's coming your way (even though the stuff makes 10 times more sense than the stuff you bring to the table).

This isn't about me, this is about you ruining the thread for the OP, who's only looking for an answer to a very simple question.

You have a good one as well.
