Did he beat Tonny to death?

When Frank took a baseball bat to Tonny, did he kill him?
He looked like he had some badass head wounds.

reply

No, Tonny is the main charactor in Pusher 2

No, he has hard time remembering stuff.

Did mister Joshua kill Martin Riggs in Lethal Weapon? he beat the crap out of him

Don't be a smart ass. It was a legit question.

"You are the Duke of New York! You are A # 1!"

reply

I can see from others' comments that Tonny is in the sequel, so that answers it.

But, independent of that, I think you can figure out that Tonny survived when Vic tells Frank that she heard he really messed Tonny up. I think she would have put it differently had Frank killed him.

It's a shame that the title to this thread is a MASSIVE spoiler.

"I know it and you know it. Yellow Dog doesn't even know what town he's in."

reply

^ Watch the movie first, ask questions later. ^

The film is 20 years old. It's a shame you can't let other people enjoy themselves talking about the film without thinking it matters there are what's called spoilers. If people didn't want to know what's going to happen they wouldn't be on here.

reply

Yeah, because simply putting "spoilers" in the thread title is SOOOO arduous and unreasonable. Not everyone watches movies when the first come out and some actually like to get info on movies before watching them. Moron.

Tonny never gave Frank up to the narcs. The cops were just lying and gullible paranoid Frank believed them. Besides, Tonni had no crime threatening him. He would never grass to the narcs unless they beat him half to death since he's such a pussy, but when Frank confronted him in the bar he had no wounds and acted surprised when Frank was pissed at him. He welcomed him in a natural way, not paranoid like he's prone to getting when he feels guilty. Killing his father was a good move for him so he can grow up and the world of Denmark can be free of the elderly criminal.

reply

Yeah, Frank was actually really gullible and naive throughout the movie. He believed the police saying his partner snitched (a really old police trick) and he believed Milo would forgive him in the end.

reply

No he did not, see the second film in the series. Tonny is the main character. And in fact it is brought up regarding what happened to him in a scene.

reply

I dont think Frank is all that naive, he's just *beep* desperate. I love his character, and my only complaints about the second two films are the noticeable lack of the Frank effect.

reply

Brain damage. Or so they say.

Well before Refn got himself into debt with Fear X after it flopped badly, it was said in the first film that he died by Vic. But seen as Refn wanted to revive some of the characters from the first film, Tonny was one of the better choices so he threw it to the wind and he was alive. Thank god as it led to the best film in the trilogy for me.

In Pusher 2 Tonny has two large head scars. He said he met up with the wrong side of a bat while talking to Kurt. End of discussion
