I wonder why is that Jeremiah was the only person that able to still remember Dudley while he erased everyone else memory of him.
shareI think it's because Jeremiah really believed and knew that Dudley was an angel. Whereas, Dudley told Henry, but Henry didn't really believe, so he didn't need to remember.

Dudley didn't erase them, it was God who did this.
The Bible says "Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." Hebrews 13:2. This means you never know when you are with angels. So this makes sense why they would be forget.
As for a child remembering the Bible speaks of the faith of a child being more innocent & accepting without question or doubt. So this explains why a child might be more likely to remember an angel.
Many angel type movies follow the same formula of people being around angels and not being aware of it. Take Unlikely Angel starring Dolly Parton. At the end of it no one remembers who she is.
Angels don't need to be remembered. They are here to do their job and done with it.
