Was this film direct-to-video? If so, that would excuse the 1.33:1 transfer on the Dvd. Imdb says the original aspect ratio is full frame, as it would be f it were direct to video, but was it?(

I saw trailers for this in 96. So yeah it isn't direct to video movie.

Even direct-to-video movies still have trailers.

Yes, it was released direct-to-video. The horror genre was at a low during the early- to mid-90s, until SCREAM came along (later the same year, in fact), so much during that time were low-budget movies released directly to video.
