I will never forget this movie...

... and I have never even seen it. I remember one day my friend and I went to the movie theater to see The Nutty Professor. We were both probably thirteen at the time. Anyways, the theater was absolutely packed on a Saturday afternoon to see this movie and one of the trailers before it started was for PHAT BEACH. No big deal, right? I mean, THE NUTTY PROFESSOR was geared a little bit more towards families than PHAT BEACH, so it may not have been the best choice, but movies featuring black casts are often advertised together, so I guess it made some sense. Anyways, this trailer comes on and it looks kinda dumb, no it looks extremeley dumb. But what happens next? Well, this trailer proceeds to show several shots of some women, topless!!! I know what you are thinking... no big deal. Well, to my young 13 year old eyes, it was a VERY BIG DEAL! And to the countless mommies in the theater who brought their families, many of which consisted of children significantly younger than myself and my buddy, it was a huge deal. I don't know what happened that day, no clue how someone let that happen, but I am sure heads rolled over that one. I went to see the movie again the following week (it was a good movie, though I liked it a lot more then than I do now) and that trailer was (not surprisingly) no longer attached. I never did see PHAT BEACH, nor have I have I ever cared to, but how can I forget the pre-NUTTY PROFESSOR titty shot?
