I want to see GOOD Phantom movie!

Watch the Columbia serial. It's darn good!

Fortunately, Ah keep mah feathers numbered for just such an emergency!

If you want to see a good Phantom movie--here it is. If you want to see something directed by Tim Burton, then you came to the wrong character. The Phantom isn't "dark and gritty". The Phantom is Errol Flynn in spandex. Quick with a quip, slow to anger; no need for dead family to kick-start his fight for justice.

There's nothing wrong with wanting Batman. But that isn't the Phantom. The Phantom is less for "kids" than he is for fun. He enjoys life, and is genuinely a happy person. That's who the character is, in any incarnation you'd care to peruse.

Again, there's nothing wrong with liking Batman--but that isn't the Phantom.
