Just when I was asking when it was going to be released, I went on ebay and sure enough, they had it. Except the cover makes the movie look so cheap it's incredible. The title had also said, 'Gunther and The Paper Brigade'. Not like anyone would care, but for anyone that does care, well, yeah.

Out of personal opinion, to me, when ANYTHING comes out straight to video, I think anything looks cheap. But that's an interesting title, sounds clique to me. I like just the Paper Brigade. :)

What you DO need to care about is that GUNTHER & The paper brigade, is an EDITED version of the original movie. I havnt verified this fact myself, but several sources indicate that as much as 15 MINUTES has been removed from the new version. Why anyone would feel the need to remove 15 minutes from a PG movie is beyond my scope of understanding. There seems to be no mention of the editing here on IMDB and the distributors website gives NO information about the movie, including the running time. The original was 90 minutes. If 15 minutes is removed, it would be only 75 minutes which is awfully short for a feature film.
If you look the movie up on Amazon and other sites selling the movie, you will find the runnibng time for The paper Brigade is 90 minutes. For GUNTHER ........... The running time is always absent. What is NOT absent are the negative comments about the editing.
Bottom line, be careful with what you buy.
