young Julie's hair

When Julie went to the adoption agency to try regaining her son, her hair was dark blonde instead of the lighter colour she had done before getting pregnant (I still chuckle when I remember how horrified her mother looked, while Julie - and a stunned Steve - were ecstatic).

It seems someone in production thought Julie's blonde job would 'fade' by getting darker; at least that's the impression it sends me. However, even if the colour did fade, it wouldn't gain pigment: she would have had to dye it darker. Her natural colour was red, not the dark ash blonde they showed. If Julie had not done anything to alter the colouring of her hair since going blonde in the first place, you'd have seen two-tone hair where the roots would meet the remaining blonde; and those roots would be red... unless, of course, her pregnancy hormones changed her natural colour to ash.

Just something I noticed and thought was odd.

I noticed that also, I just figured since she liked doing hair she was always changing her hair color. She went from dark brown, to light blonde, to dishwater blonde when she was in labor, and this pretty "brownish blonde" when she's at the home for unwed moms trying to ger her son back. And then of course, blonde again as an adult. I know alot of girls who do hair and they're constantly changing their hair color and style, guess that's what Julie did. hehe
