My own review

Since I was 10 years old, I used to watch this film forwards and backwards. I love everything about the whole movie. When I first saw Amanda Peet, she was like the biggest crush that I ever had in the movie despite her short role. Michelle Pfeiffer was excellent and demonstrated herself as a multi tasking hottie. (I know they're both married... *blushing*.) Clooney with his sarcasms also did a great job holding it down. Mae Whitman and Alex D. Linz did a great job playing the annoying kids but lovable children. Also the funny thing about it was that George Clooney's boss in the movie, Lew, played by Charles Durning, I had him mixed up with Brian Dennehy. Lol!

The only thing about it that I kind of slightly didn't like was the camera lens that it was shot in. The movie seemed a little too gloomy for me. But other than that I loved it. Long live the childhood dimensional dreams!!!! 9.5 out of 10...

On a side note, I didn't realize that Holland Taylor was in this film. I always have seen her in Two and a Half Men. I also noticed Anna Marie Horsford played the secretary role in this film.

My favorite part was when George Clooney's character was at the media press conference exposing the sanitation commissioner in order to save his journalism career. If I ever find the film on DVD, I will buy it.

I just wish the ending did not end on that sour note, when they both fell asleep on the couch. Hopefully they can make a sequel.

I made some crazy if I say this but I think what they need to do is require for Hollywood actors to participate in at least one romance film. That's just how I feel.
