Amazing cinematography (spoiler)

Agnes Godard has done a fine job giving the film a distinctive colour palette with ample light and shade. The colours of the film are, mostly, acid and very vivid, as life must feel to young people and Nenette and Boni in particular.

Great use of Tindersticks' songs in the film too. Tiny Tears plays for Boni when he's sad, after his coffee with the baker's lady. It's apt for him given he 'adopts' Nenette's baby at the end of the film; a little person who cries tiny tears.
