Never knew until now that Eddie Murphy also played 'Lance Perkins'

I honestly thought it was Richard Simmons. Whenever I try to describe Richard Simmons to people who dont know him, I always used to say "The fitness Instructor in The Nutty Professor".

Well, I;m an idiot.

I didn't even know that was Eddie Murphy, until I was watching this movie on HBO On Demand, about two months ago. Rick Baker did such an incredible job with the make-up and Murphy always does an uncanny job at his acting job.

This movie deserved to win the make-up Oscar.

I didnt realize it the first few times I watched it, but then I recognized the voice from his "Little Richard Simmons" sketch on SNL and thats when it hit me it was Eddie. Eddie can play so many different kinds of characters (remember when he played an old jewish guy in Coming to America?) its a shame they dont better utiliize his talents in all the movies hes been doing for the last 10 years or more.
