Crow much funnier than Servo

imo, Crow is just hilarious and almost never misses. He carries the show and the movie.

By contrast, Servo can be gratingly corny. I'd say he bats about .300. Anyone?

reply

I disagree.
Sure Crow gets a lot of the obviously funny lines, but they wouldn't be as funny if Servo wasn't there, or Mike. If you watch the show you get to know the temperment of each one of them, and each one of them are funny in their own way. And each one of them make the other more funny.
I think of all of them as a unit, but Crow does have the type of personality that gets remembered.

i was always a servo guy.

I was always partial to Crow, especially when I was younger. It's only within the last year or so, after re-watching the episodes, that I really appreciate Servo's humor. The trio just has great chemistry overall, whether it's the bots with Joel or Mike.

I'm in the same boat as dougie. I used to really like Crowe when I was younger, while Servo rarely said anything that made me laugh. Rewatching them now, though, I find that Servo makes me laugh more than anyone.

I like each in different ways. Crow is the more juvenile and smart alecie(y?), while Servo is the more pompous. Crow was more expressive, but Kevin Murphy did more vocal tricks. They made a nice mix; a bit of a Felix/Oscar dimension.

Sorry folks! I am Team Servo all the way, but I'd have to say that the show is just not complete without Crow's humor, too. So, so hard to pick favorites, but I think I'd choose Servo.

Don't think one works without the other. I'm not sure which my favorite is.

I hear his theme music, he's around here somewhere...

Crow's always been my favorite, but Servo is hilarious too, as is Joel/Mike

In earlier episodes, Servo seems to be the only one who's truly got his groove on with his Godzilla references, quirky songs, various pop culture moments and just unusually cool style.

In later episodes though, I give the edge to Crow partially since you're getting a fair dose of Trace Beallieu's other character Dr. Forester but that's sorta cheating. Overall, I think he improves drastically the more you watch it, knows when to actually rant and gets clever as it goes on.

Joel and Mike both have their good and bad days but again without any of these amigos, the show does not exist. I don't care for when Gypsy interrupts though although there was one hilarious moment in a later season as well as when a giant Servo interrupts the movie at the very end, xD.

In the end, I probably give it to Crow because while not as amusing as Servo, he at least has legs, eyes (which someone mentioned) and still manages to have the same exact persona despite changing talent over the years (Bill Corbett is equally outlandishly cool as Trace was IMO and I've never heard complaints about that either). Plus, you can see him functioning in the real world no problem while Servo doesn't get to exactly hover much despite his zany imagination.

It's a matter of opinion obviously some like me would agree with you and others prefer Servo.

Crow is my favourite, but I think Servo is hilarious too. I pretty much love them equally though.
