A Very Intriguing Film ...

This is a very intriguing film. It was surreal & comic & disturbing. I thought that Pauline Thomas was perfect for the role and in turn I wanted to know more about Elsa Tabori. According to most this film ... which is narrated by George Tabori ... is based on a play and an autobiography that he wrote. More so it is said to be based on a journal that Elsa kept. I searched for this journal and was not able to find it.

If this journal has not been released ... which is clearly referenced in the film ... that is disappointing as it suggests that this film is not totally accurate ... or in some way would disparage the film.I hope I am wrong.

Regardless, this is a powerful film that tells the Hungarian WW2 story very well and I highly recommend it.
