Agreed.

It wasn't the greatest but I liked it in a guilty-pleasure kind of way. Johnny Galecki was genuinely skin-chilling as psychopath Teddy.
The ending was intense too. As much as I despised Teddy, I still cried a little when he visualizes being held by his grandma, and the love he misses so.
The music was very sad too.

That said, I was shocked by the poor acting by Judith Light. She's usually a very good actress, but she came off as overdramatic & forced here. As did the father, most of the time.
But the whole film has an eerie, uncomfortable feeling to it so the filmmakers did their job there.
