Did you see this as a kid or a grownup and do you like it?

I saw it as a grownup and liked it, but barely.

I was already a grown-up when it came out. It isn't terrible, but not as good as the earlier films.

Adult (I was 33).

But I'll watch almost anything Tim Curry is in at least once.

I first saw it when I was 13 on television. I'm now 21, and I still love this film. One of my personal favourite Muppet movies.

I was 12 when it came out and that's when I first saw it. LOVED it as a kid and still love it as a 30-year-old!

I was about seven when I saw it during it's original theatrical release. Even though I never owned a copy of it as a kid, I watched it a few more times on the Disney Channel in the late 90s. Before today when I caught it at a local theater that played it as an early matinee, I think the last time I had seen it was in 1998. I had forgotten most of it since then and still enjoyed it when I watched it again today. With that said, I still enjoy The Muppet Movie and The Muppet Christmas Carol a bit more.

I'm watching now for first time. It's not interesting enough to fully pay attention. I have multiple screens on my computer setup, so I look & read other things while partially paying attention.

Added later: I stopped watching at 50 minutes. Even with only paying ~40% attention, it did just gain my interest.

Here's a big clue as to my age. I'm old enough to have seen Sesame Street when it first came out, being about 4 years of age.

I was 7 when it first came on Disney Channel, and I bugged my parents to let me watch it, I still remember the night it was going to premiere, my mom told me if I didn't eat everything on my plate, I wouldn't get to see it. So I did. I LOVED it, I was CRAZY for it, as kids you always have a natural draw to playing pirates but after seeing that movie I went through my construction paper and cut out gold coins and rubies and emeralds and hid it for a treasure hunt and sat on the arm of the couch holding a throw pillow like the helm. I was nutso for this movie.
