The score for this movie was written by the VERY tallented Jerry Herman. He composed the scores to such hit Broadway musicals as "Hello, Dolly!" and Mame." Angela Lansbury starred in the original Broadway production of the musical "Mame," so she'd worked with Mr. Herman before.

I thought the songs were great, but that this whole story would have been served better as a stage play rather than a teleplay. Great story and great songs.

You can buy a book of vocal selections from the film, with all of the music and lyrics. It may be harder to find now, but Colony Records in New York will likely have it (you can check online). You might also try Amazon.com.
