well - it was based on a true story. I was actually friends with the brother that was killed and met "Luke" about a week before he killed his family. This really did happen.

Sorry to hear it, hartleybeth. I went thru the same thing, on a lesser scale, when two people I knew, one age 2, the other a close adult friend, were murdered in the same town within a month of each other in 2002. Tears you up. You have my sympathy.

It was an ok TV movie. I was sort of wishing someone else had done it. Or they had shone the abuse the other kids had gotten from their mom and dad. I have to admit I cheered (spoilers) when Luke did something to his younger brothers breakfast.
