A queston on the love triangle

At the end of the film when Julia Roberts character and Aiden Quinn hugged is this meant for us to assume she went back to him or she remained single. What was the rest of her life about. I read she had kids and named one of them after Collins. Any info would be appreciated.

She actually hugged Joe O'Reilly; you obviously haven't watched the rest of the film

Considering Harry Boland, Quinns character, was shot dead in the latter part of the movie I'd say not. Lack of a pulse doesn't really make for a stable relationship.
