SPOILER ALERT Matty has a great scene where he is so torn up by Ruby's coldness, and he leaves the little girl and Ruby, reluctantly, there are tears in eyes. Great acting scene from SR! The little girl is saved by the police/ returned safe but with a rose tattoo on her neck. Ruby bizarrely delivers a singing telegram and the father gets a chance at revenge……but does not. It is a tender scene. Along the way, we learn why the girl did what she did. Listen to the Director commentary if you can.
