this is a good movie so i just posted so that it has at least one thread.

It is a good film, I enjoyed it a lot. Shame its only widely available in Germany, and even then only on VHS. I was lucky enough to catch it on BBC2 a while back and have now been waiting two months for one of the extremely rare copies of the tape to get to me from the US. It baffles me why such a recent film isn't available on DVD, especially here in the UK where it was shot.

It's based on a good book as well, written by Swedish author Peter Pohl. There is an English translation called "Johhny, my friend". Check it out if you like the movie!

It is a good movie(and a good book I suppose)but it is very hard to find it. I saw
the movie by accident(and only the second half) seven years ago and I am searching for it since then. I have found an e-shop in USA but the charge to ship it in Greece is extremely high and also I dont have(and I don't want) a credit card.If
anybody has information about a torrent file or any other way to find it please post it here or send a message. I am interested both in movie and book.

I agree. I really really love this movie. I was lucky enough to watch it on Hallmark Channel. I hope to read the book soon...if I find it.
