Seriously, for the love of God, freaking educate yourself. Autism has literally nothing to do with intelligence, you're already on the internet, try doing a little reading and less commenting on subjects that lead to you announcing that you're an ignorant jackass!

Autistic Savant maybe, but Autism? I know autism is a running gag being thrown everywhere to describe people suffering from social retardation, but jesus, just pure ignorance on this one.

shareWas responding to OP. He's basically calling her autistic because she appears gifted and distant. OP is wrong because she ends up getting along with and befriends her peers fine outside of her immediately family.
An autistic person would struggle with social cues and struggle to make connections with people, and Matilda didn't appear so. She just didn't get along with her family.
