Was this filmed in Williamsburg?

It looks very familiar, and I'm fairly sure it's Williamsburg, but I'm wondering if anyone knows for sure?

reply

Close. It's actually Old Salem, a restored historic district in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Yes, we watched it just now and my wife immediately recognized it. She went to school at Old Salem.

WRONG!!! It was filmed in my hometown of Statesville. The house that was the main set of the movie was right down the street from my Grandmothers.

Is it possible that perhaps filming was done in BOTH locations? Yeah, that's because it was. Maybe check these things before you accuse someone of being "WRONG!!!".

Yes, it was filmed in both locations. The 'stoning' scene was done in that big grassy area in Old Salem (I think it's called) -- and other shots filmed in Statesville. I played the Detective who brings Dan Cortese back to the town after he escapes to verify his story. The entire crew was housed in Statesville.
This turned out to be the only credit on my resume where my name was spelled incorrectly (as Cartini)
