1) " Never tell that man the truth." Which man did Jason's father mean?

3) At the end, when the doctor visits Jason, Jason has a final flashback in which he helped stone his mother as a kid in the cowboy outfit. Had he blocked out the lottery and her death because he felt guilty and repressed it all and that's why he couldn't remember it? Or honestly because he was so young?

Jason was supposedly 1 and a half during that scene. His birth certificate said he was born November 1970, and his mother died June 27th 1972. That has to be an error. I don’t think he was intended to be that young.

I think it’s more likely that he blocked it out due to the trauma, because he was having nightmares, and he eventually did remember. You don’t recover those early childhood memories.
