Losing Chase - finding hope

The movie "Losing Chase" was a relatively accurate account of how a love can develop. A love based on high emotion and common ground. Familiarity. Was Chase really gay? Was she committed to the lifestyle of living with a woman? Becoming financially independent from her husband (or did she already have funds?); Was she committed to pursuing her love-for-women - or was the summer kiss - like "the Kiss" by the artist Klimt - a one-off seal of affection. A seal of affection locked in time. To be remembered, but never pursued. Was Chases' kiss the opening to her lesbian feelings, and was it the cause of her clinical depression - or was it not related at all? Was the kiss the solution? Was the kiss the realization that that was why she was unhappy and clinically depressed? A kiss is never just a kiss. In this case, it was most definitely related to love. A deep love. Hope. Passion. At the same time it relates to confusion - profound confusion and repercussions. I liked this movie because it did touch on the repercussions of the kiss. The repercussions on her family, her husband and her life. It showed that a kiss is never just a kiss. A kiss is linked to life, responsibility and the committment to oneself.
