The Alamo

I remember being surprised, but dissapointed? Nope. Actually I thought it was kinda cool that the city had grown up around it. It is sad though that all that's left of the complex is the chapel.

It wasn't disappointing but more a bit of a shock that it's just sitting there in the middle of all this urban modernity, yes. But as the other person says, I guess in a way it's also kind of cool that the city grew up all around it and it's part of the vitality, instead of way out somewhere isolated.
