The meaning of 'feluettes'
I was intrigued by the French title "Les Feluettes". At first, I thought it was a misspelling for "Les Fleurettes" (small flowers), and that impression was strengthened by a couple of articles on the web that spelled it this way...
Until I came accross a Belgian website, which revealed that "feluette" is a Quebec-French word:
"Le terme «feluette» désigne en québécois la trop grande sensibilité d’une personne. Le mot provient de la déformation de la prononciation de l’adjectif «fluet»."
Approximate translation: "The word «feluette» indicates in Quebec-French a person's too large (over-)sensitivity. It comes from a mispronounciation of the adjective «fluet» (thin, seeming frail and delicate).
