Ummm...where are the nominations???

At the very LEAST it deserves a best picture nomination with such a significant moral statement on greed and possibly best supporting actress for debbie dunning (loved her work in Home Improvement's Tool-Time) for being so incredibly dick-wrenching. Anyone else feel the snobby academy is being a bit uptight?

P.S.
Brian Trenchard-Smith is my hero.

And what about its superb portrayal of the loneliness and vulnerability of people in space? It's much better than Apollo 13 in that respect. All THEY had to deal with was a little equipment damage.

Those CGI effects made ILM shake in there boots.

Glad you get my sense of humour. Luckily nobody realized during production how much fun I was having with sci fi hommage and expoitation B movie parody. For more secret subtext try Omega Code 2.

Brian Trenchard-Smith? If you can offer reasonable proof that it's really you, you're welcome to come to my webpage at http://www.lepconnie.com/ and be the subject of an article or anything else you would like. I already have a brief article with information provided by Jeff Mallian (the Lep 1 producer) and Dave Tripet (the EIP from the first three movies) has left his mark all over the page.
