Not only that but it seems like its always the 4th installment of any francise that goes to space

Give examples of 4th installments

Star Wars 4. Star Trek 4. Apollo 13..4. All in space. The trend is obvious.

reply

Leprechaun 4, hell raiser 4...none of those series have any buisness taking place in space...i have a real life so ill think of more when i get a second

Jason X is not the 4th....and it's a great sequel.

Get out. Now.

reply

I can't believe ''Jason X'' was in theatres. It has that ''Soft-core porn, with an outer space setting'' kind of quality.

Ages ago? It's only two years old.

reply

As Critters are an alien monster/race an installment in space least makes sense, over the others

reply

"As Critters are an alien monster/race an installment in space least makes sense, over the others"

Yeah considering that the first Critters film started in space it made sense for it to eventually go back there.

reply

...bad joke.

Jason X: Friday The 13th Ten is the only F13th in space.

"Hear me now! This place is cursed, damned, and yes your master is the devil!"

reply

After so many sequels writers run out of ideas(Jason/F13S lasted a while but most only have about three in them)so they think they can revitalize the franchise by having it set someplace else. Space makes good sense because hey Alien was in space it was scary. Either that or they have extra sets from making just as bad sci-fi movies laying around so they really want to get bang for the buck and hope nobody will notice because they've switched generes on us.

We used to joke about this at my old job all the time. Saying the name of some horror franchise and adding..... In space,

Chucky In Space
Saw In Space
Ghoulies In Space
Spice Girls In Space

reply

Ghoulies 4 actually was in space i believe

reply

I actually enjoyed Critters 4 (mainly cause of Brad Dourif's part) and Jason X (hokey fun).

"You're from the 60s! Peace love dope! Back, back to the 60s! No place for you in the future!"

reply

i liked jason x and chucky in space could be fun. i just want an avp in space . fox has taken that in the wrong direction.

reply

Personally it made me laugh a lot. I wasn't sad at all, this movie his hilarious.

reply

Hellraiser in Space - Never saw it
Jason X - Piece of crap, Sex/Murder Porno
Critters 4 - I actually enjoyed that and all the critter movies...at least they were from space

The problem here is that you are classifying Leprechaun as a horror movie.

reply

Even though Leprechaun is not scary, it's still horror movie. It's horror comedy.

reply

Oh I know right? For some reason they always would make a sequel that was in space why?

"I'm not interested in Saturn, I said Mars."

reply

Nightmare on Elm Street 3 featured Freddy as the moon, so technically he was in space...

reply

Freddy wasn't the moon. He was transparent in that scene and the moon just happened to be behind his head.

Because Space is the final frontier and that means that it is the final resting place for a horror series. When they've thrown in the towel and dying. They take a shuttle out into space and die peacefully.

reply

Lol like tv shows "jump the shark" horror series jump into space.
