Film?


It's a shame this movie was shot on such bad film, or that someone couldn't remaster it. The film looks like it was shot in the 70s. Excellent movie though.

I liked how it was filmed. Can't really say why, but I did not mind it at all. I am sure this is really dumb, but I liked how certain scenes would do a little "jump back and repeat" like when Reza was opening the doors in Leila's family's home looking for her. I am sure there is a proper name for that- don't know what it is.

I agree, I was a bit put off by the film looking and sounding technically amateur. I thought it was because the DVD company didn't make much of an effort with the transfer. The dvd's subtitles were terrible and full of typos (eg. "Life is sweat").

That's actually a pretty great typo. Life can be both: sweet and sweaty.
