How does it end? need spoiler

I was watching this movie last night and hit a wall, I needed to go to sleep and couldn't stay up for the ending. I turned it off right after the wife admitted to her husband that she had fallen in love with Robin (Bon Jovi). It's the scene where the married couple is sitting on their bed and she says things like: Something wonderful has happened, 2 months ago I wouldn't have thought it was possible, now I understand why you want to be with Hillary, did you guess it was Robin? etc. What happens next? Thanks!

Even though the husband is relieved, he is a little jealous of his wife's new found happiness. He becomes obsessed with teaching Robin a lesson, steals his gun and swaps it with the prop gun to be used in the shooting scene in the play. In the last minutes though, he has a change of heart, and tries to stop the scene from taking place, but he's too late, shots are fired, and Robin falls to the ground. However, the gun he swapped is also a prop with dummy bullets!
So, at the end of the play, at the after party, Robin announces in front of everyone that Felix has given him the lead role of his next production (a screenplay which is being turned into a movie by Paramount)- much to Felix's surprise. Robin also states that Elena will be giving the lead in her new play, to which she tells him (much to his dismay) that he's wrong for the part. Felix lays on the couch on his back, laughing his head off at this outcome.
Next you see Robin winning an award for Best Actor for the movie (announced by Nicole Kidman). Hilary is watching this award show sitting on her coffee table at her home which she now shares with Felix. She tells Felix that Robin won through the closed door of his office, where all we can hear is Felix typing away.

Hope this helps.

That's quite an ending and not at all what I would have predicted. Thanks so much!
