'Seinfeld' connection

Anyone else notice how many actors in this film played parts on Seinfeld? Off the top of my head, the actors that played Warren Littlefield, John Agoglia, David Letterman, and Morty were on the show. They played respectively, ironically Russell the network executive when Jerry pitches the show, Poppy the restaurer that Jerry gets put out of business, Elain's boyfriend who is going bold and turns to George for help, and the accountant that Jerry suspects is using his money to buy drugs.

I just couldn't help but recognize the irony of them all being in a movie about NBC after they had all played part on Seinfeld.

Yeah, I noticed that too. And at one point all those actors are in the same scene. It is amazing how many connections you can make from different tv shows and movies to Seinfeld.

Two other Seinfeld alumni, the actors who played George's hand model client and Mr. Pensky of "Pensky File" notoriety.

There might have been a connection in the production that might have made it convenient to cast the same actors. I remember noticing that both Kevin Bacon and William Windom appeared in “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” and “She’s Having A Baby” and the movies were released fairly closely in time. It turns out they are both John Hughes movies he was probably filming at the same time so it was probably convenient for Bacon and Windom to be used for quick appearances in “Planes, Trains and Automobiles”.
