Who else liked this movie?

I really liked this movie. I liked Sharon's performance a lot and thought it was really interesting that she had a different hair color and style. It was almost refreshing compared to the blonde hair she always has in other movies. I was impressed with her performance in this.

I was really surprised to see the low rating here on this movie. It is definitely one of the best movies that I saw - really made me think.

Yeah, I thought she gave a great performance because of her hair color and style. I think the Academy should start judging performances based primarily on hairdos.

I enjoyed this movie. Wasn't as good as Dead Man Walking, but good in it's own way. Sharon Stone did a great job. The scenes at the end where she's telling her kid brother (played by my favorite actor, Skeet Ulrich, btw) to get his life in order, and then saying goodbye to him and her friend/lawyer were so truly heartbreaking. I would recommend this movie.

I found it very well done. I just finished watching and looked it up here. I see it was directed by Bruce Beresford, so I'm not surprised it was good. I give it an 8.

That is not correct. There IS a "Bruce Beresford-Redman" who is the person you're thinking of (and yes, it's easy to see why people would mix up the two names). Here's the beginning of the wikipedia article on Beresford-Redman:

"Bruce Beresford-Redman was the co-creator and executive producer of MTV's Pimp My Ride and a former producer of Survivor. He grew up in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey and attended Pascack Hills High School with show co-creator Rick Hurvitz.[1] He graduated from New College of Florida in Sarasota, Florida. He is the son of David and Juanita Beresford-Redman. On April 8, 2010, Beresford-Redman's wife, Monica, was found dead at the Moon Palace resort in Cancun, Mexico, where their family was vacationing. ..."
