at the time this movie came out i didn't have a computer and when i did git one i had forgot the movie. But anyway the scene where he stoppes into the little restaurant to eat and asked the wetress if there was a salad bar and she says yes he say's he'll take all of it in the back ground you can see smoke stacks that scene was filmed in bar two blocks from my house i live in a town called Granite city IL

I work at the steelmill in the background, and watched them film some of it after work. Its a long, boring process for the most part, but interesting.

My husband's oldest brother was an extra in the movie. It was on TV yesterday and he showed me the scene he was in. About fifteen minutes in, Bill Murray's character is walking down the street carrying a huge suitcase. Across the street is a man in a suit (that's him) walking with a young girl. He's there for all of two seconds. I had to laugh because he would keep looking at the camera as he walked.
