I do believe that Matthew McConaughey as Tip Tucker is one of the most humorous characters to ever grace the screen. I watch this movie whenever it's on TV for the sole reason of Tip Tucker. My dad and I laugh until we hurt. Next to "Now I broke ma phone!," my favorite line of his is when Bill Murray asks him if he ever sleeps - "Oh yeah, slept last week!"
sharejust saw the movie. it was ok.. bill murray was the usual 'himself'.. expectedly funny.. but Tip Tucker was the best .. really loved the way matthew played him .. he was truly over the top and that funny accent .i wish he had some more scenes... he should have got an oscar for that.

I always thought he was annoying, and still can't understand a word he says. The only funny thing he did was the initial crazy/paranoid look he gives Bill Murray at the airport when Bill mutters into his "radio".

I loved this character so much! I love it when he is in the car with the police and says- "you cant turn your back on the skillet or the grease will burn your but!"
I also love the scene with Tip Tucker in the airport and the taser.
Also the one line "Termites in my bowling pins!!!"
LOL! When I first saw him, I thought "Man, he has eyes that look just like Matt McConaughey!" But as old as the film was, I passed it off. Then, I went on here and saw that it was in fact him, and I had to laugh. What a surprise, but those eyes are hard to miss.
He was great!

Dude, McCoughe..however he spells it, was funny as hell in this! Tip Tucker could have had his own film!
Watched it again today. One of my all-time fave MM roles!
They added more stuff to his character after he became this big star from A Time to Kill.
