Babette...worse Drag Queen ever!
It was hilarious...when she was lipsinging to the Lauren Hill song...she was barely even following the words.
Breakfast in bed, lunch in bed. Cleaning the sheets, cause there's food in the bed.

the reason the song dosn't sync up well is that the fugees (?) song wasn't the one originally used. Babette should be singing a jazz song (sorry I can't remember the name of it). Also during the scene where Luigi is giving Babette the iron the song "I'm Sorry" should be playing, for some reason the north american distributers had those songs removed from thier versions of the film.
shareI thought the filmmakers meant to make Babette sing out of sync on purpose because as she's trying to sing it you notice she's not doing it right then she sort of smiles and shrugs her shoulders like she knows she's messing up and it's no big deal.
shareIn the original version Babette lipsyncs to Etta James' "At Last". She and Brenda Lee (or their respective agents) didn't want their songs to be used for the US release. Or maybe they just wanted to much money.
