This has always been my favorite Troma film, and it's definitely one of the best, quality-wise. The acting's good, the special effects aren't bad, and it was surprisingly well-written. I think the main reason that it was picked up by Troma was based on it's campy premise.

I MUST see this immediately!!

Wow, I'm losing my mind apparently. I came here to post, because I just saw the trailer for this and got excited. I thought I'd never heard of this film before. Then I get here to IMDB and find that I posted on this very board 3 years ago. mind lost

It good because Troma did not produce. I saw this in Europe long before it released by Troma in U.S. Same with Stendhal Syndrome. They come to U.S. much later

Sorry, but it bothers me when Troma fanboys rave about a "Troma film" when...as with this film...it's ONLY a German movie to which Troma picked up U.S. distribution rights...but it is NOT a true Troma film. They only distributed it...they didn't actually make it.

Also...stick with the original German release version because Troma not only changed a couple of songs to which they didn't have U.S. rights to, but they released the movie in mono when it was actually made in Dolby Stereo. Find the German DVD because it has the original stereo audio with unaltered songs on it.
