There is another great movie that shows the more "sensual" aspects of necrophilia called, "People Are Dead" staring Angela Battis. It is available at www.mo-freek.com. It is good, but it has a very strong surrealist element to it. Battis' character is perhaps the most "loving" necrophile ever portrayed in a movie.
I'd share my mother's scarf but my mother's tampon..NO WAY!
have you perhaps heard of another movie I'm trying to find, which also has lots of necrophilia references. it's about a guy who goes on a date with a girl and they go to a back alley where he, more or less accidentally (it's very surrealistic) strangles her to death. then he takes her body home and lives with her as if she was his girlfriend, sleeps with her and talks to her and stuff like that...and at the end she gets cast in a movie :) brilliant film, I remember it was great on all levels from script to acting to cinematography. But I don't know what it was called (it was a year or two back, on late-night tv) and the IMDB plot search turned up empty.
If u have the SLIGHTEST idea about what this movie is called, pls reply.
maybe 1 of these? living doll; aftermath; autopsy: a love story did you google it? also, you can try some sites devoted specifically to horror movies (buried.com; horrorexpress.com; horrorwatch.com; bloody-disgusting.com). some have search functions; some have message boards or forums where you can post & someone else may be able to answer. hope this helps.
thanks man. I'm gonna try, even though it wasn't much of a horror movie... it's none of those titles by the way. I googled it of course but came up empty. I'm beginning to think I may have dreamt it all up and no such movie ever existed...I mean c'mon it couldn't be that unknown if it managed to get aired in my country - Romania - can it?
this is very very weird.
and I distinctly remember it...but it's also possible that I'm both delusional and completely disgusting and I just dreamt the whole thing up :D
if it really is my idea it would be some idea, not bad for a movie.
Is the movie you're talking about Roman directed by Angela Bettis? The main character accidentally kills his date in his house and takes bits of her on dates before he disposes of them, but keeps the rest of her in his tub on ice.
