I can't believe Ebert gave this turd 3 1/2 stars

I can't believe the late, great Roger Ebert gave this turd 3 1/2 stars. I would give it
1 1/2. This was even worse than "Dumb and Dumber". I think I laughed maybe three times in the whole movie. What a stink bomb!

Its a better comedy than expected.

Its that man again!!

And Siskel put it in his year-end top ten list. ^_^

This is the Farrelly brothers best work besides Dumb and Dumber if you don't like this kind of humor then they're def not your kind of directors.

I didn't think it sucked, but I didn't think it was so great either. I think there was laughing gas pumped into the screening room that day when Gene and Roger saw it.

This is a great comedy, better than dumb and dumber by far. The lines are classic, the leads are great together, and it's a lot of fun without taking itself too seriously. We need more comedies like this!

I thought Irene was a pretty solid comedy. 8/10. Dumb and Dumber 5/10. Maybe 6.

This was a 3. It wasn't that it was never funny. It was, at times. The problem was the endlessness of jokes that completely bombed. I could count about 25 or 30 that were forced, campy, or both, and just fell flat. It wouldn't have been such a bad movie if the jokes that are so bad they literally make you angry didn't come at you like a machine gun spray, riddling the corpse that used to be your good mood.

Whenever there is a discussion about favorite comedies, say movies like Lebowski, Office Space, Trading Places... and people bring this up, I glare at them and think about breaking their jaw.

That's why Roger Ebert was a world famous film critic and you're...well, you.
