I don't understand the humor

I didn't laugh once watching this "comedy". Obviously that's just a personal opinion and people have different senses of what's funny. But the gags in this movie actually made me feel sick to my stomach. There was nothing exaggerated, ironic, ridiculous or even silly. There's like a few slapstick gags with his hand, not funny because it's not over the top and just recalls the dismemberment. Sawing off a horses hooves? That's not dark humor, that's horrifying. It's just... stupid. And not in a silly Airplane! way. Its GROSS.

How is it funny to people??? I don't understand.

Different strokes for different folks i guess. I thought it was hilarious. Murray as usual was phenominal. The landlady was funny as hell. Just the bad luck munson had and the way woody delivered was just hilarious to me. IMO

My personal opinion is that proves you have intelligence. With a few exceptions the gags in this turd were terrible!

Schrodinger's cat walks into a bar, or doesn't.

Whats not to like? You got 70's douchebags, gambling debts, professional bowlers, the Amish, an alcoholic loser, Lisa from Weird Science. It's awesome on so many levels you will never understand

Anybody who doesn't think this movies hilarious has to be under 30.

I'm not much older than 30, yet the generation gap is huge. I've talked movies with them and they don't really like anything that was made before 2005. It's so strange.

Of course, there are exceptions; however, in my experience, I'm amazed at how similar they are.

I remember this girl was getting mad at people cuz they couldn't believe she never heard of the Beatles. She said, OMG, they were popular in the '60s...how am I supposed to know who they are?

There were a few funny moments, like when Roy throws the hot coffee in the thug's face again after his landlady comes in and realizes he was in cahoots with the thug and he's trying to make an excuse to get the thug's *beep* out of there. I guess you either like the sort of humor or you don't. I was amazed when Gene and Roger praised this thing and said in the screening room they were laughing like crazy. I would've loved to have been there to see if somebody pumped laughing gas in there.
