Why so low rating?

Honestly, I think this is a decent movie. Definitely not the best movie ever, but I think it's worthy of at least 4 1/2 stars. I think it passes for an ok movie. I'm curious as to why this has such a low rating and why all of you hate it so much. And please keep your rude comments to yourself. It's not nice, and it doesn't answer my question.

I agree with you. I even BOUGHT the movie for my, then, 8 year old son. He is 19 (today!) and we still have it. My 6 year old daughter loves it- raining BURGERS for pete's sake. Its not the apex of cinematography but its not the nadir either. I think that people's expectations were high because it was beloved Shaq and they were then sorely disappointed. I was quite disappointed with his rapping skills but, heh, I bought for a little kid, not myself.

Hey I'm 19 right now and I agree that while it's not one of the best movies ever.. it was typical of 90's movies like this, it was alright. Definitely not among the worst movies I've seen

i gave it a 5 out of 10.

the ending was too boring, couldn't finish watching it.

A Clockwork Orange is the greatest film ever.

I could tell you, but why don't you just listen to the man...

Yeah, it really isn't bad enough to justify a 2.8 rating. I thought it was pretty silly fun myself and though Shaq sucked at rapping, he was quite charismatic.

I don't think so, Tim.
