I recently watched this movie, but the one I had was only 109 minutes long. It was Region 2 (UK) DVD. I was told by a friend that there was a lot of sex in it, but to my disappointment, the sex scenes were few and far between and not very good at all. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a different and longer uncut version or something? My friend says he watched it on Channel 4 a couple of years ago and it was over 2 hours long!

Yes..

I have the original and complete version which was broadcast on HBO in 2001 and 2002.

It is 2 hrs and 12mins long.

ps: This is the 1996 version (and by far the Best Version)!

actually there are several diffrent versions. but the best to get is the french one because it is fully intact the us (don't know about the uk) is slightly butcherd and the indian is like completely cut because of diffrent countrys rating systems

Does anyone know where i can get the original version which you all speak of? All I see all over the net is the 114minute unrated version and i dont think that is the one i saw years ago..the version I saw seemed to have more in it..i swear i think they cut out more from the original movie, not just the so called lesbian scene

no, blockbuster has the R version. I just bought the Unrated version, and while I love it, I wonder how I can get the original, complete uncut version. Does anyone know how I can get it?

I am also desparate to find the full version, the one that Channel 4 aired in January 2004. They aired it again 2 weeks ago, but typically that was the one night I was out and missed it. It seems that the UK DVD version is 109 minutes, and the Unrated US version is 114 minutes. The Channel 4 version was 130 minutes, but that's not counting adverts. I found some scenes from it on a website, but there were only 4 sex scenes (plus the under the sheet bit). Were there not many more than that in the Channel 4 version?

I believe the German version is uncut one, 117 minutes. Both US (i.e., "unrated" version) and French DVDs are cut, 114 minutes.

Watch the movie, don't count sex scenes!

Dont be watching films to see more sex scenes. But yes the DVD version and tv versions are much less sexy. Tv, I nderstand but why the DVD is heavily edited is a mystery. It's like weird self censorship.
