'jude the obscure'

hmmmm...just saw it last night. I thought the actors were great, and very well cast and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. I just had a hard time though because of all that was left out, though obviously they had to leave out a lot because the movie was already long as it was!!! They did a good job, and I think if I had maybe waited a little while to forget every little event that happens in the book I could have appreciated the movie just for itself. I'll have to go back and watch it again later on!
