I came across this movie on Showtime last night and found it to be pretty good. How have I never heard of this movie? I was a movie-watching fiend back in 96-97, and I've never heard of it, despite their being some big names in it. The marketing must have been really lousy.
shareWhen this movie first came out it was shown at a film festival and I saw it. I have to say it is a interesting movie. Then it disappeared and never heard anything else about it.
Now that I think of it, none of the movies shown at the film fest made main street. There are so many movies made and they never make it out to the public.
It only played in very limited theaters, in a few major cities, probably due to the obviously non-mainstream subject matter. Few people actually saw it, and then it kind of disappeared. I saw it in a theater in New York, and never really forgot it.
