On a scale of 0-10 how did you like this movie?

I give this movie a 7/10, it's a good movie to watch on a cold weekend afternoon but this wasn't one of the best Christmas movies I've ever seen.

reply

I actually think it's one of those "so bad it's good" type films, but it is absolutely a hot mess.

reply

Oh right, so......a 6?

reply

6/10. Not the best but still pretty enjoyable.

reply

It was one movie I liked better when I watched it in late 2013 than I did when it was first released on VHS, one of my former close friends loves this movie and it reminds me so much of him.

This for me is the absolute worst I've ever seen Arnold try to act.

he's awful in every movies he's in, His acting is terrible, but at least in action movies its watchable.

watching him try to act in this movie is truly astonishing.

If you were a reasonable normal adult, that had never heard of or seen an Arnold film....and you watched this film. I truly believe you would be stunned at how awful his acting is, you might even think its like a Spoof Or Maybe think it was a B or C list type movie that was made to go straight to VHS...

His acting is Frighteningly bad, The only way he gets away with it is because everyone Know "Its Arnold"

but for someone who doesnt know its arnold and hasnt seen him or movies, I dont actually believe they would really believe someone could act that bad, I really they would just assume it was a spoof, Or something went terribly wrong in the casting department, Maybe the actor originally cast in The Lead role dropped out at the absolute last minute and they were forced to CAST idiot who cant act.

Arnold truly may be the worst actor to ever make it big Hollywood, especially how big he made it....

The Depths of his failures and awfulness of his acting in this film is almost beyond belief...

hilariously I enjoy this movie

7.5/10 I always liked it a lot, as a kid and as an adult.

This movie is for Squeakahs but i'll give it a 1/10 for Santa Big Show

reply

Since my father had a real life "Jingle All the Way" experience I rate it 10!!!

reply

He dressed up in a Turbo Man costume and ended up on a float?

reply

Actually, he and all his relatives did their best to find me a toy helicopter called a "Whirlybird". When they couldn't find it they told me they heard over the radio that Santa Claus was running out of them. I told them that was okay and wound up with a toy battleship called the "Fighting Lady". Jingle all the way!!!

reply

Now hear me out. Depending on the year this took place, is it possible that the writer of Jingle All the Way was in your family's presence when this occured and possibly made your family the inspiration?

reply

I doubt it. My story takes place around 1960.

reply

I give it a 8/10.

It has a few flaws, but it's still funny and entertaining. Plus I DID grow up with it. So it has a special place in my heart lol

reply

Same here. It's not quite the best Christmas movie I've seen, and I didn't like the way everyone treated Howard, but the big fight scene at the end made up for it all. Plus, there were a lot of funny moments :)
